Shopping at Box Lunch and watching shows people frequently talk about on Tumblr, I realize that I spend so much time on the newest and most discussed characters, I find something realizing how long it's been since I've interacted with the "old stuff". You know, those cartoons that were there in the beginning of my life.

Just recently Chalkzone popped into my head while I was watching Bob's Burgers. I can't believe after all these years, I can still remember the astonished and admirable feeling I felt about a character like Penny Sanchez. I wanted to be like a lot of female characters (mostly like Sandy Cheeks), but Penny has always been an inspiration to all girls, especially of different race. You can be smart, beautiful, and a great role model. I remember that feeling of how I saw her as a great representation that science isn't only for the males. Girls are just as brilliant with it, and that's what I always seen about Penny Sanchez.

Man, I can't believe even after having not thought about Chalkzone for years, I still remember her name. Which is pretty odd because I'm still at a total loss about the names of the sisters from The Loud House (and that show is relevantly current).
