This is so amazing. Just the other night I felt like driving over to my dad's house and yelling, "JUST WHAT ABOUT ME WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?" I still kinda want to, but knowing my dad, he would insist he's done nothing wrong, and if I would only sit and "listen" to him ("listen," in his language, meaning "accept unquestioningly as the absolute truth") then we could go back to the way things were, once upon a time. Which, of course, would only make me angrier, and before you know it, there would be cops, and blood, and screaming, and jail-time... lol.
I think it's kinda sad, though, that a button like this exists.

Aw how this button and song remind me so of horrible days. The days of screaming and slapping, seething anger of something I cannot control. Why cant we all be seen as ourselves, unique and flawed. Egg shells I walk on as something..anything relating to...my one and only flaw in my parents eyes. Because no one wants the gay daughter....no, it can never be true.

Having a mild background/love of psychology and sociology and taking the nurture side in the nature vs. nurture debate, I agree entirely that parents are like THE BIGGEST force in shaping us and they can have both a great and a horrid effect on us. Once more, the irony of duality in this pic, a great theme with you XD. Still heartwrenching, but good execution.
