Me and my sister definitely haven't had the easiest of lives. Everything from simply knowing how to act to eventually getting friends has always proved more difficult for us, and that is through absolutely no fault of our own. We are conjoined twins, born and forever destined to be together in the same body. To put it bluntly, privacy isn't exactly a luxury either of us can ever have, with the exception of some short and rare occasions that is.
It's not made any easier by the fact we are just naturally very different, and not just because of our evidently opposite sex. That in itself has certainly contributed to many awkward and problematic situations, which is yet again another reason why our lives are just that much harder. We cannot comfortably use public restrooms, any relationships are an absolute no, and our new clothes are a frequent nightmare to get.
Yet, even despite the constant unforgiving reminders that I can only move, feel and use half of our strangely split body, that absence also reminds me of a far more important lesson. Not everything is about me. Sure, she is perhaps the most annoying little sister ever, but that doesn't mean I'd ever want to give her up for anything else. She cares, trusts and respects me in all the same ways I do for her, and that bond is fortunately something we've always had.
It is also quite amazing luck that we share an equally large range of fun hobbies that we both enjoy, which is possibly the main reason we are able to stay in such positive spirits. Gaming, biking and late night movie binges are just a few of her personal favourites, and I honestly couldn't disagree with the idea of any of them.
Say what she will in protest, she was and still is my favourite little sister.
