Description
When i was first asked by what class of soldier my character would be in an "Valkyria Chronicles"-ian world i said sniper. As i said that the biggest most pin-point accurate rifle came to mind. This is not it; its about half of what i envisioned, both in the scope and caliber. I was going to make it bigger but when i looked at it on paper it seemed too much like overkill. However, i don't have a war to win.Related content

Uber rifle with no kickback, with an Oracle scope and interchangeable with any bullet type.
It's called... Widow-maker.

We can only hope that the bullet gets them both. Well, I guess that would make it an "orphan maker"? We might be a higher caliber.Β

Orphan maker? Hmm, perhaps, but it doesn't flow. What about 'Waif-maker'?

Whenever I think of ridiculously long guns I think of Seras from Van Helsing. Its hard to find a pic of both her and her gun; the best of her gun is images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cβ¦Β ; most are like this 1.bp.blogspot.com/_uEsBmSOCdmwβ¦Β , not at all clear exactly how big her guns are. sometimes she dual-wields these things media.animevice.com/uploads/0/β¦

Its interesting. When you first see her she's using handguns, relatively small guns, but she quickly develops larger guns

I like to keep them the same size as when i work on them. Although it doesnt help to hide the imperfections therein

Seems you had the same concept for an early sniper as me: long rifle with telescope =w=

Very nifty. Re: your other comment, if you need a reference I'm sure I could arrange one ^-^ The primary inaccuracy is that the bipod would be angled slightly out toward the muzzle and that she would be hunched forward into the weight of the gun, both for steadiness and so that it doesn't land her flat on her back when it goes off. Straight backs in a sitting position don't work so well with any recoil, plus you shake a lot more. She'd also have her cheek pressed into a rest on the buttstock - snipers need ultimate stability, and having your eye bounce around the crosshairs doesn't really make for a clean shot. Technically if you wanted to be realistic she'd be laying down with a shorter bipod, but the composition gets a lot less compact and shiny x.X
Nice lines, nice colors, I like her hair ribbon. The raspberry accents work well with the blue. It also looks like her slack laces are tucked into the rest, which is a brilliant little detail and pragmatic. And the little translucent pink ribbon on the buttstock makes me grin.

I'll be sure to ask about any further gun-related drawings and the pink ribbon was made clear through a layer rearrangement problem which i will now fix. Nice eye.

Well, i guess there's a pretty limited variations one can do when drawing a side-view rifle hold. I probably would have been better off referencing that image.
