"Looks like you won the championship contest, May! Congratulations!" The green haired teenager exclaimed, smiling, as he approached his best friend after the award ceremony.
"Thanks, Drew. You did amazing too," she responded, blushing at her friend and longtime rival. Then she smirked. "Does my Beautifly get a rose this time?"
Drew smiled with a glint in his eye. "Yea, something like that." He pulled a rose out of his jacket and held it for her to take. "This one's special though," he said very seriously. May smiled and took a few steps closer to accept the rose when suddenly Drew made a swift move and-
"Drew!! Wha-?"
"Gotcha May!" He said, pulling her close before giving her a kiss on the cheek. "This is for you!"

Lol. I hope you have enjoyed my impromptu mini fanfiction. XD Maybe I'll expand it... This is basically a scene I had in my head for this pic .

Sooooo today marks my 8th year as a deviantartist! *gasps at my oldness* I wanted to make something in celebration! Thank you to everyone who has supported me over these 8 years!

Have I mentioned I'm a Contestshipper? Well I am. XD I don't draw these two nearly enough... I should really draw them more....... Besides Pokeshipping (Ash/Misty), these two are my second favorite Pokemon couple. (I also like Hoennshipping in the game-verse).

They are dressed up because they just competed in a fancy championship level Pokemon contest, of course! ^^ May's bow is inspired by her OR/AS headband. She was originally dressed in all red but I changed the color scheme at the last second and I thought blue looked better.

I tried out a lot of random stuff with the background and style of this one. Tried to keep it anime-ish. I hope it isn't too crazy. I didn't color the lineart this time but I might later.
