She was in love with Tigerstar, and wanted power as well. She didn't really agree with it, but she just put on a brave face and pretended t not care.

I just found out about this today but, Leopardstar was in love with Tigerstar, which is why she agreed to join Tigerclan. If you don't believe me than look it up. >^<

I think that they were meant to leave the forest not just to get the clans together but to leave the forest where all the great battle and tigerstar died and all that.

It would've made more sense for each and every clan to turn against Tigerstar as soon as they learned he was evil, which they would've known at this point. Seriously. Drive him out or take each and every life from him, and Stonefur would live, Whitestorm would live, Darkstripe would live (A little longer) seeing as the Bloodclan battle would be averted.

I guess so, but at that point, ShadowClan was desperate. I think Nightstar was sick or something and so was their deputy, so no one was up to the job to be leader. Tigerclaw stepped in just in time and I guess in a way, "saved" ShadowClan for a while.

But surely SOMEONE would be a strong leader? Wasn't Blackfoot in the clan at that time? How about Oakfur? Russetfur? Unnamed cat?

Blackfoot was chased out, not so sure what happened to Russetfur, though, but Tigerstar brought her back.

It was stated that she could pretty much do nothing, so it was either her, Stonefur, and the apprentices all die or just the apprentices, so she chose the lesser amount of bloodshed. She didn't say it quite like "Kill them and see if I care!" it was more or less "We have to obey Tigerstar at the moment, he'll cause more of us to suffer if we don't.". Besides, it's stated that she really regrets her choice. And I don't feel it's Blackstar's fault either, since he was taking an order he also states he regretted carrying out. I feel that it's just Tigerstar to blame here for forcing everyone to make a deadly decision and kill for unjust reasons.

I HATE how Leopardstar let Blackstar kill Stonefur from defending two apprentices. She left him to die just because she loved Tigerstar. -_- (anyway, TigerXLeopard FTW).
Firestar, Graystripe and Ravenpaw should have done something too.
