I felt so bad for Brightheart at this point in the books. However, Cloudtail is more to blame than Daisy. He is the one in a commited relationship. Daisy didn't know he had a mate. Cloudtail allowed her to flirt with him. I have a hard time buying the idea that Cloudtail was in the dark about Daisy feelings. The whole clan including Whitepaw knew. Many cats in the clan thought he was being unfaithful to Birghtheart.
He could have made more time for his mate, and Daisy had Ferncloud to take care of her. I think the other cats in the clan could have confronted him sooner. Why didn't Firestar say anything to him? Why didn't Brackenfur and Thornclaw give him a hard time about hurting their sister?

Daisy is NOT stealing Cloudtail from Brightheart! Daisy lost 2 mates, so Cloudtail wanted to spend some time with her. Brightheart shouldn't feel bad about that. Just like what CCswaggerangel33149 says, Daisy was NOT giving an ugly smirkΒ Β to Brightheart. Daisy wasn't saying "OH LOOK CLOUDTAIL IS MINE HE IS TALKING TO ME OMG" Daisy NEVER said that. So there's pretty no good reason to be jealous (I MEAN SAD) about that, Brightheart.Β

Daisy just broken up with Spiderleg and was Smoky's former mate, so she needs to have a bit of love, yet, Brightheart should except Daisy, Brightheart has a motherfucking mate.... So Cloudtail was only there to make Daisy feel good, Daisy isn't trying to steal, she's not glaring at her with a smile, And If her name is Brightheart, then why does she fucking mope around. I just hate when people suspect that Daisy is just stealing Cloudtail from Brightheart, even though Daisy hasn't snapped at her or clawed her....
