In the deserted forest, Firestar crouched beside Spottedleaf's trembling body. Blood welled at her neck, soaking Firestar's cheek as he pressed against her. "Spottedleaf! Please don't go." Dovewing heard a sob in his mew. "You promised you'd be there to welcome me."Spottedleaf gave a tiny shake of her head. "That was never going to happen, my love. I cannot journey with you anymore. I'm so sorry."

I finished The Last Hope...which is stupid because I haven't read The Forgotten Warrior, yet. :u..
I cried at this part and I never cry while reading Warriors.
I can't believe the Erins killed off my favourite she-cat...again.

the reason I don't really like spottedleaf and firestar together is because they NEVER EVER had a romantic relationship until AFTER spottedleaf died.
And I didn't really care for spottedleaf much. but she was a good cat.

SPOTTEDLEAF RANT
Spottedleaf was a miss perfect cat. She had no flaws. She was in every book, not even joking. She was a pedo and fell in love with a kit that only said 3 words to her. She was old enough to be firestar's mom. When she died she stalked Firestar in his dreams. She made him have feelings for her and that broke sandstorm's heart. She has to always be involved. She stalked a cat that didn't even know her in her dreams (leafstar).Β
So this is why I don't like her. She is way over rated and it is a sin to hate her by everyone else's opinion.Β

Spottedleaf is a small, slender, lithe, orange-and-brown, dark tortoiseshell-and-white she-cat with a distinctive dappled coat, small white paws, a white chest, and a white muzzle. One of her eyes is rimmed with darker fur than the other, she has a black tipped, gold-and-brown striped tabby tail, and soft fur. She has a mottled face with a soft, small pink nose, and warm, large, pale, clear amber eyes.

I liked Firestar and Spottedleaf together because they slowly worked up a romance, it wasn't love at first sight but when it just began they were parted, but yet Spottedleaf ended up serving Firestar plenty of times by giving him advice and warning him of things to come and she also helped guide his daughter...
In StarClan...I think there should be NO choice. Why should Firestar have to choose between Spottedleaf and Sandstorm? Why must Graystripe choose between Silverstream and Millie (though she kind of sucks), why does Crowfeather have to choose between Feathertail and Leafpool? In the first series toms had multiple mates (Like Willowpelt mated to Tawnyspots, Patchpelt, and Whitestorm) that they can love?

Age doesn't matter with cats.
Maybe in those three times they talked, they felt a connection. It happens all the time in the real world.
If she's a bad medicine cat for falling in love, then so is Leafpool and any other cat who broke the Warrior code for love, such as Graystripe, Silverstream, Crowfeather, Feathertail, Bluestar, Oakheart, Dovewing, Tigerheart.
But I'll admit, I really don't like Spottedleaf anymore.

i agree with some of that... but when i first read warriors i knew i was gonna hate her XD Im VERY tomboyish and she was always so perfect and this book is not realalistic like Cats dont have "Mates" males Go around and breed freely if Β they put that in warriors everything would be diffrent

Family cats I hate : Cloudtail, Dovewing, Jayfeather, Leafpool, Hollyleaf. DONE OH AND FIRESTAR hes the worst leader, 80% of the clan outsiders...

I imagine that Spottedleaf didn't die again and then when Firestar died he chose her because Sandstorm became Dustpelts mate after his died. That would have been a good ending. Plus I think DustXSand would have been a better pairing because they were both butts to Firepaw.
