........... short story straight: MapleShade hated the fact that CrookedStar(Formerly should've been called StormStar) had kits with WillowShine. In pure vengence, she used her evil powers to make willowShine Suffer, giving her greencough which spread to the kits. All except SilverKit. Who died later when giving birth to Half-Clan kits, same with MapleShade.

"Evil powers"? You get greencough by nature, not from evil powers. Sometimes, like Oakheart said, it's just fate. I know that Hailstar and Rainflower's death were Mapleshade's fault, but that's pretty much it. .m.
