I am going to bring two fandoms into this rant so be prepared. They will be Harry Potter and of course Warriors.
So I have only just gotten past the part that Oakpaw got named Oakheart and I have cried 2. My thoughts on Rainflower are that I want her to burn in the dark forest but no star clan had to put her in Starclan. I thought Starclan was blind then because she was so loving and then as soon as StormkitΒ hurt himself and broke his jaw so disowned him. Okay so in Harry Potter people say Draco would disown his son if he started dating a Potter or Weasley. Draco only cared about his family so he would encourage his son if he loved someone even if it was a Potter or a Weasley. Sure he wouldn't want it to happen but he doesn't control what his son does. A spoiler for the cursed child is about to come up so stop reading this comment if you haven't read it yet. Okay so in the Cursed child Albus Severus Potter was sorted into Slytherin and he becameΒ friends with a Malfoy straight away. People ship Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy together and they say that Ron disowned Rose but that isn't like Ron. Β They also say that Draco disowned Scorpius but he wouldn't do that he would accept that his son made this choice and he would get closer to Rose and eventually like her. So I didn't really like Ron in the Harry Potter series but I know him well enough that he wouldn't disown his own daughter for dating a Malfoy. Okay back to the Warriors fandom. I think Rainflower should've loved Stormkit just as much as Oakpaw. Shellheart was the type of father that would stick by his child when he or she is injured instead of abandoning the child.Β

It must be that Rain and Shell carry the gene for the fur colour "cinnamon", but don't expressed it themselves. So Crooked and Oak got that gene from their parents but expressed it. So it's not unrealistic.

Ok, so, I'll tell ya'll about my opinions on dear old Rainy. First of all: She's a jerk. She literally ABANDONED her kit. SheΒ left him as if he were just a rotten piece of prey.
Now, you guys all know Millie, right? Well... Please don't hate me, but, I kind of like Millie. The only reason she acted like she did to her other kits is because she was just worried about Briarlight. Any mother would be worried. But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she had a right to be a b**ch (sorry for swearing ) to her kits, but some ofΒ her actions ARE reasonable.
Both of these she-cats pretty much deserted their kits, but unlike Millie, Rainflower had no freakin' right to treat Crookedstar like she did! Millie had a(n) (almost) reasonable right.
So really, the only cat here who has flaws is you, Rainy.

Yes, I don't really like Rainflower but Millie did have her right Briarlight had her legs crushed and couldn't really do anything but Rainflower could have at least helped Stormkit get over his injury instead of abandoning her own child.

The reason I like Rainflower is because she was, in my opinion, one of the more interesting and relate-able cats. Most "good" cats (I don't consider Rainflower a villain) are written so that they are 100% good in every personality trait. Rainflower wasn't exactly that, which is why I prefer her over Crookedstar (same scenario with Clear Sky and Gray Wing). Her being a b**ch doesn't make me instantly hate her because I personally thought she was a well-written one. That is me, though.
