I won't recommend it. Despite some of the faults of the old 1978 film. I believe that it was better that this new version, closer to the source material. This time they merged some characters, changed the gender of others, chopped up the story with different characters in key scenes and kinda made a mess of it. My daughter and I are fans of the book and we quit watching by the middle of the third episode. It's a shame, with the expanded time using multiple episodes and the voice cast it had the potential to be much better.
