I know this is old, but, nah. The 'heart' suffix means loyal, protective and noble. He was named 'Brokentail' out of having a crooked tail, and the prefix, 'Broken' came from Yellowfang's broken heart.

-Lost Snowfur to a monster
-Gave up her kits, Mosskit dying
-Fell in love with Oakheart from Riverclan
-Lost Stonefur to Blackfoot and (Darkstripe I think?)
-Drowned in the gorge
-Broke the warrior code
-Nearly killed by Tigerclaw/star.
-Raged against Starclan.

Yes. I agree all warriors had a tough life, but we're all the pinpoints you just shown me there close to as how much Yellowfang suffered. I'm not taking any sides for cats, but I'm sick and tired of people going on about poor Bluestar.
- She was responsible for Snowfur's death
- If she really had a heart over ambition, she wouldn't have dragged her kits through a meter of deep snow, therefore, being responsible for Mosskit's death
- She didn't fall in love. Oakheart was on her territory, and BOOM they have feelings for each over. They spent a NIGHT with each over, and already Bluestar's pregnant.
- Once again, she shouldn't have dragged her kits to Riverclan in the first place...
- Drowned in the gorge. Well, all lives end, don't they?
- All cats do it sometime.

- Yes, because she went completely cray cray. She didn't just rage against StarClan, she raged against her OWN Clan and herself

Blue fur didn't kill Snowfur.. Snowfur chased away shadow clan warriors in the thunder path and Bluefur tried to warn Snowfur of an upcoming car and Snowfur didn't get out of the way in time and got hit by the car

Eh..Sure, Yellowfang had a rough life, but in my opinion, Bluestar's was more harsher.
-Actually She kinda wasn't in a way..She asked her sister to come out in the forest with her, so really, it kinda was and wasn't.
-She only took her kits to Riverclan because she didn't want Thistleclaw to be deputy. You can't blame her for that.
-Well, its kinda weird how you put that, but okay? Its wonderful how life works, but then again, you ARE right..
-Once again, she did it so Thistleclaw didn't become deputy.
-Well, they do, but she died a heroic way. At least she saved the clan.
-Maybe, but only Mouse-brained cats do it. Leafpool broke the code because Crowfeather was super sexy, plus he saved her life. .-.
-How would it have been the right thing to kill Bluestar? If Tigerclaw killed Bluestar, Fireheart would never become leader.
-She only went cray-cray because of Tigerclaw's betrayal. She may have raged, but the clan still trusted her.

I hate Brokenstar. He kills his father, then acts as if some other cat killed him and gets all sad and upset. He kills kits without a second thought, and banishes his mother and later tries to kill her.
