But at least they won them back if they didnt Crookedstar would have never helped make Silverstream and then her and Graystripe would not have kits then the whole system would have been bucked up!

I hated that scene.
When someone mentioned that kits should be with their father I thought it was a load of rubbish: kittens should actually be with their mother. I've heard, in reality, that toms even try to kill their own kittens.
But eh, it's warriors :/
