She didn't kill Longtail. Longtail made the decision to get the mouse for her. He could've just put up with her complaining, but he didn't.
Mousefur did feel really terrible afterwards, too.

When I was reading the series I was like this when I wanted some random cats to live forever!! She'd kill them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think My only fav' cats STILL ALIVE are Briarlight Hollyleaf IvyPool and Cinderheart But pretty soon I am Positive that at least TWO of them are going to the ranks of StarClan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
