Oh wow!!! The expressions are 10x better than before! I like Honeyfern in this picture a lot better than in the previous one because she's trying to help, in the other one she's just a bystander D: Your cats got less chibi as well!!

There seems to be action going on in this pic. I like characters' expressions, they really show their feelings. Good that you haven't done the shading using only black. Your style with drawing cats looks nice, especially their faces.
Though, I would like to point out some things you could have done better. First of all, you should work on the anatomy of cats. The cat, who scratches the other one, looks a bit weird, because of it's right leg. It has a bit weird position. Also the cat on background has a weird pose and her legs don't look like they have bones.
Another thing I would like to point out is the water on background. Is it supposed to look like it's glowing? I mean, it looks too bright compared to the darkness of the background. Anyways, it should have a reflection. It doesn't look natural. And Honeyfern's "effect" could have done better, maybe it could be better if you added more glow..
Also the blood and scratches don't look very natural, they should have more shading. Generally speaking, this artwork looks a work in progress. You could have continue it much more with continue making more detailed shadows and adding more value and shadows.
I highly recommend using references when drawing.

Yes, the right leg looks a bit wonky, it shouldn't be bending that way, but by the time i realized, i had already merged the layers and it was too late. x'D and i agree that the brown cat needs some work with the anatomy, i didn't pay much attention to making it proper. (probably because i've been drawing too many humans and chibis, i've been out of practice)
yes, the pool is supposed to be glowing. it's sort of like a sacred ground where the characters talk to their ancestors. ;v;; you're right, i could've definitely made honeyfern brighter, considering she is a cat from "heaven". xD
tbh, i really half-assed the blood. i wasn't really trying to make it look realistic for this piece because i personally feel it wouldn't fit the style so to say. //also lazy lD
and nah, i really appreciate the critique! i'll be sure to look at cat photos for reference and work on detailing in the future!! though, i must say, i didn't put all my effort into this drawing and am not exactly too proud of it. thus, i'm sort of sad you spent so much time analyzing it because it really isn't my best work at all aa ;;
