I think because lusa has been shown multiple times to have brown fur on her muzzle on the cover of the books(really inconsistent tho because lusa in the actual book is completley black)

yea i guess the authors just made a picture of a normal black bear(who normally have some type of mark on them) but special cases allow them to be completley black. Really any bear can be any natural color, some instances are really hard to come by, though.

I think Taqqiq is misunderstood by everyone, even the Seekers themselves.
Nevertheless, I think I am kind of like Taqqiq...
He's a bear turned evil by Salik's gang. And when it comes to them, it's like evil using teamwork to prosper!

Eh, I don't think Taqqiq is evil, just stayed with the wrong friends. He loves his family and I think he's trying to change, it's just difficult for him. We won't ever know though, since the Erins are done with Seekers, and I don't believe Taqqiq will get an ebook.
