I took a stroll to and around the beach this morning! It was wonderful, just like it is every year.Is it really 2010 already?
In 2009:
Won 2nd place in a research competition
Gave and lead 3 speeches
Bought a new guitar
Bought a Fuji Instax Film Camera!
I graduated from college
I started Graduate school
Became reacquainted with an old friend I haven't spoken to in 6 years
Had my 6th year at Sport Chalet :/
Started playing World of Warcraft
Took set photos for my friend's movie
Attended Greg Laswell show in Los Angeles
Sat around and did nothing
What did you guys do this past year?

I swear, your work never ceases to make me do just what that post-it depicts. Heck, your work is definitely one of the reasons I still check dA from time to time. This is so simple and not overly complex, but powerful at the same time. Nothing makes a person smile more than another smile. Toss in an aesthetic sunset (sunrise, perhaps?) Not to mention flawlessly executed piece between the lighting and focus.
2009 taught me a lot about myself and went through a change that has me on a more positive path and I'm already enjoying 2010. I don't think I'd change a bit.

thank you, I always enjoy your comments. 2009 was an interesting year. I went through a long journey of self discovery. I feel I am still going through some changes.
I've discovered however, that some answers to life are not always desirable yet necessary for growth. I've encountered many people who desire change, but expect the their environment to change for them. I've been told once that in order for life to change, we need to change. In other words, life won't change, if we don't change.
It makes sense to me. However, easier said than done.

I went through a self-discovery myself last year, one where I realized that only I could permit myself to feel however I wanted to feel and that I wanted to be happy and positive rather than sad and negative. It was a long, trying road and I'm still working on it, but the silver lining is there. And that change doesn't happen if we don't make it happen. So no, it definitely makes sense because that was one of the revelations I had over the last year and I enjoyed it immensely. I'm just glad that there's someone else who can relate.

Its was good, however, I did leave out all the negatives of 2009. Granted there were not many. I'm excited for this year!

Oh I sure hope so! I barely shot any photos in 2009. Things will be different in 2010.

Wow, very nice pic! So simple, but the textures make it very cool.
I've started in a new school in a new stat with a new major, besides that not much interesting. Oh and got a girlfriend.
