There is some speculation among fans that Walter and Alessa may have met through the Wish House. I'm sure if they really liked each other, we would have seen more references to Alessa in Walter's twisted Other World.

Gosh, Gansta. It is sad and creepy movie just like Silent Hill. It's like Jacob is the other version of Harry while his son Gabe is the other version of Cheryl. The main character's dead the entire time! The movie had a sad ending too, but on the happy side, Jacob now reunites with his son.

Correct! Jacob's Ladder is the original Silent Hill! It's amazing that the game developers chose to create a game based on that movie! Some say it wasn't a good movie but they were wrong! It's brilliant! Fantastic! Superb!

In case you haven't checked out already, some of Dario Argento's most famous movies are Suspiria and Inferno.
But for Clock Tower fans like us, I think you would like Dario Argento's film Phenomena. www.outsidersmusica.it/wordpre⦠I still haven't seen this movie, but I really want to watch it after so much research! I heard that the creators of Clock Tower: First Fear were heavily inspired by this film, so much that the main character looks EXACTLY like Jennifer! In fact, the main character in Phenomena was named Jennifer! O_O (played by actress Jennifer Connelly, oddly enough). The plot for the film is also very similar to Clock Tower: First Fear. Also, the film featured seasoned actor Donald Pleasence as Jennifer's ally.
I wish I could find the DVD for this movie, I REALLY want to watch it now!

Oh, Gansta, Gansta, Gansta! Thank you so much for introducing me these movies! They are brilliant! And you're right, Susperia is horrifyingly awesome! It was so scary to realize that the owner of the school you are enrolled is a cruel witch who's surrounded with satanic minions! Good thing they got what they deserve in the end!Β Β The atmosphere is cool too! Reminds me of the horror games I've seen in Youtube.
And I do know the Phenomena! The Jennifer from the Clock Tower did look like her! The difference is, the Jennifer in the movie had psychic powers, where she can comminicate with insects and use it against the killers! It was awesome! She reminds me of Anna from FEAR and Alessa from Silent Hill. The killers also reminds me of Mary and Bobby Barrows. They both share the same personalities. There's no Dan in the movie, though.Β Β

Ah Cas, I'm SO glad you had a chance to watch some of Dario Argento's classic films!
That's very true, Jennifer from Phenomena had a special psychic gift, one of the main differences between the two stories. Even though it's quite different from Clock Tower in some ways, I'm very surprised at how similar they are. I've researched Phenomena quite a bit, but I still haven't watched it yet. x( But with how similar our interests are, I knew you'd really like them, Cas!

Oh, if you watch the Phenomena, you will be able to see the perfect between it and the Clock Tower. You will see there the counterparts of both Mary and Bobby Barrows. And the chimpanzee there had a resemblance to Hewie from Haunting Ground, since it also is great companionship with a protagonist! However there are some parts that are sad, where Jennifer is being bullied and judged by other people. One lady told her she's diabolic and even accused that she had caused all the murders, which reminds me so much of Jennifer from Rule of Rose.

You know, I learned Dahlia Gillespie(Alessa's mother) and Walter we're connected. Dahlia's the one who encouraged Walter to awaken 'his mother'. (room 302) And to start the ritual called The Holy Assumption.
Maybe the reason why Alessa and Walter didn't met because Alessa was in the hospital...(She was burned alive) while Dahlia was talking to Little Walter in the orphanage(Wish House).
