Description
A trip into a surreal world of alien flora....Those that know me, know I can't do anything that is considered "normal"..lol.. I have to do things different from everyone else.
My idea of Exotica would be an alien planet, where nothing resembles things as we know it.
well this is my entry,, however after seeing Isilmetriel's and priteeboy's entries I dont think i stand a chance in hell of even placing, but oh well got to give it the old college try..
Thanks!!!
EDIT: This one got an Honorable Mention!!! Woohooo!!!!!

Congratulations on the Honorable Mention for the Exotica contest, Ali! That's awesome! This is a wonderful piece, and I’m glad they appreciate it as much as the rest of us. Great work on the perspective, too. I really like the way the plant/shape/things fade into the distance, and how the horizon is so close, yet so far. With no frame of reference, who’s to say how big those things are? Way to go!

Wow. I'm getting 'giant stone squid of the desert' vibes from this. XD It's really cool. i like the color and texture of the red moon. It complements the sand to me. Good job!

All the impressions in the surface makes me think these guys are strolling around on their tentacles when we're not looking - I was thinking the ground was sandy, but I see shiny places, so maybe not...
