Wow! I don’t know how you did it, Ali, but you’ve somehow created an image that is at once beautiful and macabre, bright and dark, surreal and terrifying. I feel a palpable anxiety when I look at this piece, which is heightened, not lessened, by the lighting and warm colors. Once again, I am reminded of Dali’s works. Hey, wait a minute, is that his eyeball in the piece, or am I waaay off?
