You are too hard on yourself ..when art is about being different and explorimenting ! It's awesome ...and an excellent use fractal integration .....Actually ..it reminds of the thing that swallowed my true homeworld ...

I think the nebula is very good and a great color!! The whole scene is great!! You can make some really nice stuff with APO then add the space stuff to it!!

Casperium In reply to live2b [2006-04-23 17:39:34 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!!! I love using Apophysis for space scenes, you can get really creative with the right fractal...and this new Ray of Light script is really interesting, give a whole new dimension to the fractals!

live2b In reply to Casperium [2006-04-23 18:04:27 +0000 UTC]

You're welcome!! I didn't get any new scripts with mine. I certainly don't have the Ray of Light script. I don't know what the problem is.

Casperium In reply to live2b [2006-04-23 22:26:56 +0000 UTC]

Ray of Light [link] you can find it on dmschenk's page,, you can also find a ton of scripts on the Apophysis page here at deviant art.. The program itself doesnt come with anything.. you have to make parameter, script, etc etc folders and pit all the goodies you find in it.. give me an email addy and i can send you a zip file ( a bit over 1mb) of all of the script files i have found.... You can also find starter flame packs here [link] at the Fractal Repository I have a flame pack there too called Ali's Flames 1 which has a bunch of flames done in gold over white backgrounds.. you can also find all sorts of goodies on the home page of this site..... So have fun and just yell if you need help or anything..

Don't know about the quality, but that nebulae is just like thing I'd like to have on my fantasy painting. Of course I wouldn't want a nebulae in the middle of faeries, but that look and that effect. It's so perfect. I think I have to rip it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to helekri [2006-04-23 17:26:39 +0000 UTC]

well this nebula actually consists of 2 different fractal flames, and one of them is copy/pasted 4 times, each time reduced in size and rotated to make the final nebula... if you want the apophysis flame files I can send them to you and you can make you own nebula from them... Thanks!!!!!!

omg dude this is steller, love the color of the nebula, very sick shape to it, not realistic but very cool.

your planet is accually very nice, looks real, and the colors are right on... stars are deffinatly goodl ooking too!!! how did you make those like that anyways?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to CaptoAmazo [2006-04-23 17:29:42 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!! The Planet was not made by me, it is the Planet Divine found on the resources here... as for the stars I use Universe standalone program for the vast majority of my star work, however the four larger bright white stars were made in GenesisFX, another great prgram for making stars......

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CaptoAmazo In reply to Casperium [2006-04-23 20:37:42 +0000 UTC]

hhmm i've never heard of any of those programs... are they free?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to CaptoAmazo [2006-04-23 22:15:40 +0000 UTC]

Universe is sold by diardsoftware and is fairly cheap, they have a plugin and a standalone,,, dont get the plugin, as it is very limited, the standalone is much better,, they cost about 25-29? US dollars.. GenesisFX I dont even think they sell it anymore I have had it for years.....
