Full View suggested. All Faves Thanked in Advance. For the Bring Your Vision To Life: Good vs Evil Contest
I started thinking about the concept of Good vs Evil and how it relates to our everyday world and it hit me that most evil is committed out of ignorance. Ignorance causes fear of the unknown and results most often in bad decisions.
Knowledge can help reverse ignorance and set it on a path of better informed decisions. A GOOD outcome. It can enlighten those who fear and help set them on a course of acceptance and change.
These of course are just my humble opinions and not meant to create a debate or ruffle feathers.

this is an interesting topic, and please dont get me wrong when i say this im only trying to open new ideas. the phrase 'ignorance is bliss' comes up a lot and for me i wish i were ignorant because then such things as the pain inflicted on the people around me and the planet i live on, well i would be oblivious to. then again if we all had the eyes to be able to see what we are doing in the long run maybe those problems would never of occurred? i dont know, food for thought, nice work

You can't deal with suffering by ignoring them. The only way to end suffering is to confront them head-on, without fear. Confrontation however will be ineffective without UNDERSTANDING the problems you're facing; this requires the pursuit of knowledge.
"Ignorance is Bliss"? It is the mantra of the weak, the cowardly and the foolish. So what if the world is full of pain? What are you going to do about it?

I really don't understand some of the things on ignorance, especially fear. If it wasn't for my (bad) habit of wanting to know stuff, I wouldn't have found out about 'that year' (please don't say it, please) and 'big brother' and finding out that my best friend would leave. You can thank knowledge for those... TT_TT

I kina agree with what you said because what I hear alot people say is people are most afraid of what they dont understand and that can lead to bad conclusions like you said.

Spot-on, couldn't have put it better myself...though thinking about it, I might have opted for "awareness" rather than knowledge, as alot of people equate knowledge with facts rather than with understanding...
definitely not a criticism though!

Thanks! And yeah Awareness might have been a better choice... but I guess I am one of the few that doesn't equate knowledge with facts, but with awareness and understanding. I figured using awareness might make it somewhat vague.. but I did include it on the side of Good.
