This piece was very fun to make and gave me a few challenges on the way. For starters, I wasn't sure how to tackle the issue of painting sand. Due to the fact I'm still learning how to paint things in digital art, I'm very happy with how it turned out in the end. I made Palossand look big and intimidating and the poor Marill is much smaller and is trying to have a fun time at the beach. This piece was a blast to make and just looking at that sparkling ocean makes me want to go on vacation right now to somewhere with sandy beaches.... darn pandemic. Still, I hope you all enjoy!
