Description
Done for DeviantART's Fantasy Earth Zero contest. Been working on this solidly for 4 days and fairly happy with the results. I drew this in pencil on an A3 sheet of paper and then coloured it in Photoshop. She's an 'efflorescent' or 'blooming' Scout.Firstly, I adore bloomers... errrr the clothing I mean. I love the way they're to floofy and comfortable I knew from the start of my design that I wanted my Scout wearing bloomers. Then I started working with the idea of incorporating flowers into the design and her bloomers became giant leaves. She's also wearing a mushroom on her head because I also love mushrooms.

I love the colours in this one - the earthy tones really make the pinks glow! Those leafy bloomers are just gorgeous!

I'm impressed again by the subtle use of the 'green-yellow-pink' you've re-working into the BG decorations & her weapons. |'3 very smoothe, and that small touch really lifts the entire piece.
