Sometimes I wish I weren't so reliant on (or I might say, with some reluctance, obsessed) with technology and the internet. I like to take walks and have a mindful moment, remind myself that there is more to life than browsing on the internet all day long.

Lovely photograph Cassandra and I share in your sentiments, although here I am on DA on Christmas morning! I had planned to finish on here yesterday but due to some unfortunate circumstances that I won't trouble anyone with I never got on at all, so here I am catching up now that the turkey's in the oven before I log off again for the rest of the day. Enchanting, and enchanted! Yes there certainly is. I have started taking days off of the internet. Still have not gotten to where I turn the cell off and even though I do have wifi, I only use the phone part on my techo-free days.
It helps. I can only think that all those electrical vibrations can't be good.

I think it's good to have some days away from the internet, and kudos to you for doing it! I find it incredibly challenging and like you, I seldom actually switch my mobile phone off and it is usually near me. I sometimes worry about falling asleep with my mobile phone next to my head, as I listen to music through earphones connected to my mobile. Those electrical vibrations like you said, can't be good for my poor, fragile brain!

Yes, I am an audiobook nut, and listen to them almost every night, otherwise my mind keeps going on and on, and I don't fall asleep for hours, no matter what time I go to bed. I found out that having my focus outward helps me relax and so I use a bluetooth headset and don't sleep with my phone any longer. I used to have it on my pillow, but I honestly worry that that power thing probably isn't good for our brain. So at least the bluetooth earbuds help with that part of it.

.. die es nur geben kann nach den heutigen (ich meine damit, nachher ist man immer schlauer), aber ich finde du hast das Bild das 1634 darstellt gut getroffen, und das auch noch in Farbe.

..bitte, gut das Kam an. Ist aber auch logisch, die sogenannten "Guten alten Tage" kann es anders eben nicht geben! Und anders wird es sich auch nicht ändern, also so >> "tomorrow is never die" deswegen hat mir auch dein Titel so gefallen.
Stehe oft in DE am Rhein Berg Oben ca. 280m über NN Tolle Aussicht und denke mir, da ich den gleichen Pfad gehe den Goethe gelaufen ist, es hat sich nix geändert . Sonst wenn ich in der Stadt bin versuche ich die alte Zeit mir vorzustellen in dem ich mir die ganzen Werbetafeln und die Verkehrsschilder weg denke, nicht ganz einfach, ist aber möglich.
