I don't usually like doing this, but I thought it'd be interesting for others to know what my intent was in terms of the message of the photograph. If you were startled, I did my job correctly. It's supposed to be gaudy and slightly disgusting, not because of the subject (she's a stunning girl), but because of how strange it is to see the sexual and erotic image of too much lipstick juxtaposed with braces, something that is most often associated with innocent children.
But yes, thank you to everyone for the support!! It's made my day!

I do not wish to bore with the details, but this piece speaks novels for me on a personal level, as I had braces from ages 18-21 a HORRIBLE time to have said mouth jewelry. I often fought with my boyfriend about whether or not the braces bothered him, and I always said "I can't win with you."
This is dear to me, thank you for going where others wouldn't dare.

hmm..personal opinion is that it is not realism... the sparkles add too much of a teeny bopper undertone... rather detracting from the common thought that this is realism... to be real is to be pure and natural, even with makeup on, sparkles are plastic and cheap..
would be a definate fav it were a velvety lipstick.
