"Fairytales are only beautiful if you don't look past the covers."The first in a series of 3 (I think).
Watercolor, ink, and gel pen, finished 1/10/15 at 11:30 pm.

The only thing I noticed just now is the anatomy of the girl is slightly off, which i mean her legs.
technically her knees should be shown in this, right at the bottom of her legs. It looks as if she has a really long waist.
But it's fine, You can't really fix it and don't, you are pulled to the rest of the image so it doesn't bring that much attention.
Just letting you know cause i used to make that mistake as well.

Actually when I was first drawing this I knew where the knees should have been; I just felt they were unnecessary and I didn't feel like drawing them, because if I drew the knees then I felt like I would have to draw part of the calfs, too, and I really didn't want that to be part of the painting. Then I ended up inking a longer line for the legs than I had originally intended and then I was like "yo whatever"
But you're right; it does make it look anatomically off in some way. That and her weird pose: she's leaning her weight more on her right leg, and her torso is turned while her bottom half is relatively straight on. While it's not impossible to turn this way since I do it all the time, I feel like I overexaggerated it in an attempt to make that obvious. But it's also a cartoon so maybe it's not so bad?
