It's simply supposed to be dark. 
Believe me, I love Applejack, she's my fave character.
But when inspiration comes there's no stopping me.

I was just wondering if there was a backstory behind the image.

Well there isn't a backstory. There's a lot of creepy images without a backstory. I just felt like drawing this.
and my 4 year old cousin has been asking me so many dumb questions lately so my tolerance has been lowered a bit.
sorry if I came off as rude, I just hate it when I get asked a ton of questions that aren't the easiest to answer.
