Description
This is the second of my photo's for my Photography II class. I particularly like this one. My teacher however had problems with it because he said the rose petals neither added nor took away from the picture, therefore there was no point to having them in there.I myself thought it was ingenious and was very proud of myself for thinking about it. The rose used in the picture was the rose I was given at my grandmother's funeral a few weeks back and I feel like I found a great purpose for it. I think she would be proud.

It's beautiful.
I dont mean to undermind your teacher or anything but I personally think it looks far better with the petals, it would look a little bland without them, plus the red really brings out the black shades in the photo (Keys, notes I mean)
And the fact that you came up with the idea is enough not to change anything

I've actually never made a print on here before. Never thought about it really. I guess I could, I just need to find the original so I can have it as a bigger size.

Oo!!! May I offer up a variation? Try making the background grey (black and white) and leave the petals red. *thinking-that would look pretty cool...I think)

I actually did that variation for the one I turned into my teacher. My family loves it so much they want it blown up and put in a frame for their music room.
