Description
A sketch inspired by Goethe's Faust, listening to: [link] and a photograph I don't have a link to...Mephistopheles looks a bit like a corpse-like prostitute but over all I'm happy with how it turned out. I can't believe I used to hate watercolour back when I was a kid. I love how you can create so many colours with so few and 'layer' the paint. The only thing is that it's somewhat unforgiving, still as I try to fix 'mistakes' I end up being glad I made them in the first place as they create a new element in a painting.
Hope you enjoy these strange and random drawings....
