Yah I don't understand either. It's just the coincidence that I made the tail go the same way. Besides, the tail will be different when I finish the completed YCH so I don't know how it's going to affect anything. I've drawn Cass in this pose about 3-4 years ago also so... yah

so i wouldn't worry too much about the teeny tiny similarities it has with the icon

Yah I feel like some sort of criminal. It's a pose... I guess it just looks bad because I put the tail the same exact way, but I honestly had no idea I had it the same way as the icon until someone pointed it out. Apparently someone told me quite a few people were pointing this out, so I believe that someone has been talking about this somewhere else without me knowing. Possibly another tumblr account, hopefully not a drama site specifically aimed at me. I personally want nothing to do with drama at all anymore, it's giving me health issues.

Thank you friend! I won't let it stress me. I know people can't copyright a pose, and it IS very coincidental that I made the tail go the same way, but I honestly had no idea that I did it that way. I have video recording proof that I never used it as a reference, and I fucking wish I had another computer because this one is starting to turn into crap, so I don't think the "other monitor" thing could've happened.

I dunno, it doesn't really look like that icon, though the icon itself was originally one that ganbariMASUU which they made a base of for others to use.
The icon lacks a stomach or chest showing.
Given there's already fifty or so icons that use the base, it's quite possible you were subconsciously influenced.
I remember drawing poses like this years ago, they're so fun.

Yah I believe I was subconsciously influenced as well. I honestly had no intention of stealing the pose or whatever... I just drew this up during a Join.Me. The people watching me could also prove to people that I had not used a single reference, since I honestly didn't. I was just drawing the pose. The last time I drew this pose was for an old animated tail wag of my fursona Cass which can be seen in the bottom of this journal skin:Β xxwarriorcassidyxx.deviantart.β¦
I used to doodle the pose occasionally in my sketchbook (that I never really show to dA since it's just a school doodle book for when I've nothing to do)

I can understand that, to be honest I was gonna comment that it reminded me of some of Pichu's pictures(for example this one from 2011 fav.me/d4fp1ib ), but then I saw that comment and remembered another image I'd seen awhile back on FA, then the icon base. I glanced at them all and could see visible differences between each one.

I honestly was not trying to copy or steal anything. I had no idea how accurate it looked to that icon. I've seen the icon a few times, but I never made this based off the icon.
