I would love to use this bird in an art image. Can I get a commercial use license for 1 USD and if so, how do I do that?

The info on my stock TOU is outdated and I need to update it. Thank you so much for asking me about that, I just realized that! Commercial licenses are $5 for stuff that is not of people. I will shoot you an email, but I accept payment via paypal.

I sent you the email via note. Can I get some more details so I can write up a photo license/release form to send you? You can shoot me them at the email I just sent you or just send me a note over deviantART.

Casey, I hope you have received my email and paypal payment. I sent both this morning to your email. I also sent a copy of the image I want to use. Basically, I would like to be able to show/sell the image on my photography website. I am an conceptual photographer and digital artist so I take a photo and make artwork out of it either using texture, painting, etc. in Photoshop. I also will be printing some of my work, having them framed and selling them either at an art gallery I am considering or an antique shop where I will be setting up a booth. If you want to get an idea of what I do, please take a look at my website which is www.cherylparrisphotography.com. I did add the crane to the slideshow this morning after sending you the payment, but I would like a copy of the license for my file.
Please let me know if you received everything as my account shows it as having gone through.
Thanks again so much.
Cheryl

Love this pic, I would really like to use it in a small CD cover design I'm making, can't I crop out the Kookaburra and place it on a cartoon of a farm scene ?

Hi there, sorry for not getting to your question sooner. Yes you may use the image for a cd cover design. If you are going to sell the cd or design to someone, you'll need to get a commercial use license which is 1 USD or 100 dA points.

Looks great I would recommend specifying one more thing though: how would you like to be credited? Is typing your name cassy-blue enough or do you want it as a link like Cassy-Blue or do you want a link to the stock that was used to be included, or something else? If you don't care either way, then it's good as it is ^.^

That's something I didn't think of. I'd prefer a link back to me, but if they link back to the stock image that's ok. I'll have to add that a link is what I'd like.

Hello!
I was wondering if I could use one of your stock photos as a visual reference for a Warriors cat profile/application form for a Clan I made/am in. The image is here: www.deviantart.com/art/Cat-Sto…
I will NOT be making any changes to the photo- just a small visual reference so others may have a clue as to what my cat looks like if he (yes, I'm sorry, this will be a ref for a male ^^') were a cat in real life. I will, of course, give you credit (link back to your deviantArt page + saying it is by you (probably as "Cassy-Blue @ deviantArt"), and will not ever claim the photo is by me ^^
Of course, it is your choice to say yes or no, so if you don't want me to post your photo somewhere else (just as an image, not uploading it), that's fine as well ^-^ I hope you have a great day/night wherever you live, and thank you so much for considering (:
~Emmie
P.S.: The site I will be posting the URL (in img BBCode) to is called Chickensmoothie, which is a pet adoptables site that has a Forum portion to it. The specific part I will be posting will be on a Roleplay thread I made on the 'Animal Roleplay (Fandom-Based) Section of the Forums.

Question: I am in a costume design/rendering class at my university and for a series of renderings, we are using photoshops. I was interested in using a couple of your stock poses as croquis and was wondering if that would violate your stock rules. I would be sure to credit you in any presentation of the renderings. These are only paper projects, so none of this would be used for monetary purposes. I ask because of the 'replacing face and body' I wouldn't be replacing it as much as using the face and body to start a figure.

That's fine. If you can please upload them to deviantART so I can see them Good luck and and have fun with your project.

Hi I have a question. I'm making a doll collecting brochure for my art layout class. Would it alright to use 'Japanese Dolls Stock'? I would have to print it, but I would credit you in my research pdf and take no credit for the photo.

yes, you can include in your school project provided you credit me. I'm glad it's useful.

May I use your model/pose stock as sketching and practice references? I don't plan on uploading them anywhere, just for practice drawing in my sketchbook. Would that be alright?

I'm a bit confused with "in works with celebrity images" in #3. I mean, my style isn't any of those mentioned but I'm curious what exactly it means. Is it that your stock cannot be used when creating manipulations that show celebrities?
*happily grins for rule #9*

Cassy-Blue In reply to Sand-Rae [2014-09-08 00:17:43 +0000 UTC]
Basically I don't want my stock being used in conjunction with copy righted images like celebrity "renders" where people just cut celebs out of pictures that other photographers took (which are copyrighted) without the proper permissions. It's a big problem in stock and res that people do it all the time

However, looks better now. Let's hope they'll fix the rest someday.
