Description
This a preview of my next project, its an image Iยดve had in my head for a long time, hopefully I can pull it off.As you can see I have some weird way of painting, I select an area (e.g. face) with the pen tool, on a new layer over the sketch and paint till I see that its done.

I cant believe I've had no time to continue this painting til' this week. Here is what I got so far, my goal is to finish it by this week-end.

can you remember how long it took you to do this much? i'm a struggling digital painter and can't seem to get my patience and timing right

Hi, I think by this time into the painting I was at 15 hrs. A normal portrait such as face and hair, takes me around 5-8 hrs, but this headgear I wanted to paint was taking a very long time. I did loose my patience with her right after I finished the first Jade jewelry that goes over the nose. I didnt touch it for another month. So yeah I do understand how you feel. The key to great painting are those 2 things, patience and timing.

I really need to practice my patience. I tend to get frustrated, give up on that particular section, and work on another. I never seem to get back to the section I gave up on. I will try now
