Beautiful dear! I love this.... I did a piece with a girl wading into the water and I had a difficult time with it. This is lovely....

lovely work
that is a beautiful scene. the lightnings and the moon add a nice touch,
i don't use photoshop but a different programm, so i can only gove you general suggestions.
maybe it is just because of my monitor settings, but the skin of the face appears to be a little too pink. other than that the colours are great.
about the fading of the dress: it might look better of you made the dress look more transperent. and also a bit shorter. the first half of the dress inside of the water looks more realistic that the lower part.
the rest is well done
i hope that was helpful
thank you for using my stock photo [link]

Yeah... you have to use a bend between layers... First ones are better (darken, multiply and overlay).

Actually, it does look not real but ghosty and very pretty. Reminds me about the godess of chaos in "Sindbad" actually. Well, if you really want to change it - doubble the water layer (and do a double of her, too for fadings). crop her out of the water with a big soft bordered eraser - this gives it a smooth fading into the water. Then play a little bit with fading the layers untill you think its satisfying for you.

thanks for the suggestion. the water layer is actually already doubled on this picutre. i tired to do what said, but i don't think that looks better. think you are right, i'll just go with this ghostly look, even though that's not what i wanted it to be originaly... thanks for the comment
