Done in Open Canvas + Painter 9... Been working on this on and off for almost a week.... blame it all on "Bleach"!!!! I got totally addicted to the series and ended up neglecting my drawings.... *dies*
Anyway.... again my original character VI... since Timekeeper got a colour pic himself, I just thought VI ought to have one too.... Oil paints in Painter almost drove me nuts.....
I need to sleep...... -_-;

the colour combination used in this gives it a great effect of someone secretly slinking around in the dark.
The shiny whiteness you put in is also really pretty!
I love the eyes and especially the hair.
the contrast you used with the blade and the rest of the picture makes it stand out a lot and is really striking!

The coloring style is nice, and the dynamic (bad word for this, but best I can manage) pose draws the viewer in. The clothing design is interesting and I like the swords (that line was personal opinion). You show off the character's skill in a lot of ways, from the obvious, with the speed "lines" ("speed mist" doesn't sound right) and the cold expression, to the subtle, like the loose grip he has on the heavy(-ish/-looking) blades.
