Description
The light type is a type in Legendary PKMN, crucial to the plot for many reasons. One such is that Absolix, said to be the most powerful being alive, is a light type.

The light type is super effective against two uncommon types, and is resisted by two common types. However, it is weak to uncommon attacking types and also resists many common types, making light types defensive overall.

Light types used to be common in the world. They often banded together in a crisis to help each other, making them perhaps the most caring type of all. However, this would lead to their demise- because the light types were all clustered around each other, it made them easy to wipe out all at once. Around 215 years ago, seemingly all light types were killed in some sort of brutal massacre.

Absolix, the sole surviving light type in the world, is believed to be responsible. Indeed, aside from Mercifond who arrived by time travel, the light type has become the rarest type of all, with only two known Pokemon in the world.

In addition, only light types (And Arceus, due to her brilliance) can learn and utilize light type attacks. This makes light attacks incredibly rare to find. Below are some light type moves, written in basic format:

Light Cross

Summons a cross of light that assails the opponent from four sides.

Shining Arrow

An arrow is called forth to pierce the opponent. Ignores light screen and stat boosts.

Photon Stream

Pow = 40
Acc = 100
A very quick attack that always strikes first (Priority = +1).

The user summons a giant avatar of him/herself. All stats are raised one stage, requires 1 charge turn.

Supernova

A giant explosion of light wrecks the field, damaging everyone. The user also takes 1/4 damage.

Acc = 100
The user summons the purest of all light and assails the opponent from every direction. The user must rest next turn.
