I've been working my ass off on commissions lately. Aside from that it's fun to work on so many different kinds of drawings (from personal photos, realism, OCs and fantasy to Final Fantasy) I can really use the money at the moment.

Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum of Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Drawing in a very early stage. Used coloured pencils for the eyes and the rest will be done in B&W. (:
About 1 hour of work so far. Drawn from a reference of the game!
As for the Contest... I'll post info about the subject and rules on Tuesday as it will start on July 1st! Collected a whole bunch of beautiful (and generous!) donations first and some very special judges who will check your work. You guys and gals are very lucky. I wish I could join my own contest!

hey there.
just a wee litle thoought.
have you ever tried using other kinds of pencils?
like some of the higher B's
you would get a much smoother finish. more skin like.
you pencill at the moment seems too hard either a HB or an H
if its mechanical shame on you! not when shadinggggg!

Are you going to be smoothing it out like all your other drawings or are you going to keep this rough look? I really like this look. It's so different from what you normally do. ^.^! can't wait to see more!

But doesn't he has yellow eyes, and the red in trailer was only a glow? I saw in the paper what they are yellowish...

In the trailer were indeed red.
But his eyes color in the movie depends on what weapon he uses, at each weapon his eyes have a other color, and at some the same.

Wow. It looks just like him. The expression, hair, and as for the eyes.. They're going to be so hypnotically entrancing. I don't think I'll be able to look away from the final product. Look forward to seeing it soon, and keep up the beautiful work!

&& some how I'm drawing up a blank on the contest. o.o Spent about three hours today at work just thinking of what I could do (had to do heaps of filing so it was good for getting my mind off it lol). But I think it's going to come down to a doodle that I do and seeing how it can grow.

Very beautiful sketch - I especially like the hair
It's not really my job to give critique to someone like you, but I think that his right eye is looking in a slightly different direction than the left - just the pupil though. Anyway, everything looks gorgeous - I cant wait to see the final result ^^

Thank you! And of course critiques are welcome. The eyes may look a bit strange at the moment because the shading hasn't been added yet. You'll see once it got more shadows and details it will look a lot more different!
