This drawing almost made me cry.A huge thank you to ~deedeedee123 for allowing me to draw the same picture of Sora as she did. Please send her some love, too
.The reference picture comes from the opening scene of Kingdom Hearts II. I wanted to add a little more drama to this scene, so I did. I hope you like it this way.
Spend about 15 - 20 hours on this drawing.

You know you did a good job when your own drawing makes you want to cry from the expression of the person. Kind of bittersweet in a way no? Anyways, you some some amazing skill, I'd love to see you draw a picture of me one of these days lol.

I actually used to be decent at drawing, but my focus is now more on writing.

Well I like drawing, but I've realized that I'm next to incapable of visualizing images in my mind. I can draw very well (for someone who rarely does it) with say, a reference photo, but I can't just create something out of my mind.
There are times when I just want to pick up my supplies and train myself to be really good at it (usually how I go about such things) but I'm pretty scatterbrained when it comes to artistic pursuits; I have a ton of written W'sIP, and I couldn't tell you when I'll actually get to some closure on some of them.
I think about it, and realize that I only got so good at writing because I spent about a year doing it non-stop (just for leisure, that is) and have only really been very good at since about the time I registered for this site. And of course, we're all always improving.
Anyway, I could rant on and on about this, but I'm actually on my way out the door, so take care and keep up the good work.

I'm having the exact same experience about drawing things from my mind. It sure is really hard, to get proportions right, shadings and stuff and not to forget to get an image interesting enough.
It's really great you find your way of expressing art in writing short and long stories. What motivates you to write them? I guess you write your stories instead of drawing the figures you had in mind, right? That's lovely
I haven't done comics before, so what I'm about to do is write the storyline on these comics as a fiction story. I hope it will work out. Do you have any tips?
