Description
They are being loved and despised for their oddity, weirdness and originality. But in the end, they don't mind what people think about their behaviour. I guess they have created their own freedom of art and music. <36 quick (scribbled) sketches of young eccentric singers with funky haircuts that I like. I gave them a new make-over by giving rainbow hair colours.

Lady Gaga Adam LambertAlthough they are original individuals on their own, they do have 1 thing in common: their love for having extremely weird haircuts (and make-up
but that's a subject we'll leave for another day).Also, they are somehow connected to each other, the so called "Six Degrees of Separation". Can you find their connection? Start with Björk and you'll end with Adam Lambert.
First clue: Jared Leto covered a song of Björk, called "Hunter". He also covered somebody else's song...

Bruynzeel coloured pencils & H 0.5mm mechanical pencil on crappy quality paper. A few references used, but nothing specific. About 4 hours of time.

But otherwise, I love the brightness and the colors used here.

They'd both covered the song "Fever" I'm not sure who it was by originally, but that's all I know. xD
That makes the concept more fun, since there are so many. =] I guess interesting people like that will have things in common.

I think the original was performed by Marilyn Monroe. Though I highly doubt she was the one who wrote the song so yeah...

First of all, I LOVE the Gaga and Adam Lambert. And Matt Bellamy, unquestionably.
Second, your use of colour is awesome. <333 I love their hair, I love their faces. I just love love love everything.

Colours are so much fun to work with, but a dozen times I have failed to actually finish a coloured project because it didn't work out or I accidentally picked a wrong colour and the entire drawing got screwed up. I'm glad I'm finally getting the hang of coloured pencils lately... (:

I don't follow any of them closely enough to work out the connections unfortunately.
Also I love the way you manage to make something so simple look so effective- You get the shapes and negative spaces so spot on, it's amazing. I admire both you and your work

Well I meant that, I was just referring to the absence of SPN artwork recently, as opposed to the absence of obsession
Thank you for the luck aha, I will need it :S So far I have done half the face, and from what I can see, it looks like it *might* end up being my favourite one so far. :S
I'll be sure to send you a note when I am done, though I seriously doubt it will be as good as anything you have done (I'll just have to try twice as hard I guess).
Have you got any more animation projects planned? Or has the Muse one exhausted you for the next ten years? It was so good!

Of course more animations are on their way! I still have a gazillion ideas left so whenever I got some free time, whenever that may be, I will start with a new animated project.

That's so true! If you enjoy and love your drawing, it is inevitable that it will come out successful, however if you aren't in the mood to draw, and you force yourself to, the drawings almost always come out bad.
Well that's what I find happens, at least.
Yay for more animations! I still can't believe you drew every frame in that last one, I think my brain would have given up and just disintegrated.
I look forward to seeing them, I have no doubts that they will be epic

I've recently seen the clip to 30stms new single! I was actually shocked when i saw his new hair - blond iro with red tips!
But, somehow... it doesn't matter what he does with his hair, he still looks absolutely AWESOME...

- kelis and bjork recorded a new version of bjork's oceania.
- both lady gaga and bjork adore alexander mcqeen and have sported his gowns (not to mention they both have a pretty wachy sense of style)
- lady gaga has also been seen wearing the same outfits kelis wore years earlier, making us wonder of kelis is gaga's fashion icon.
- matthew bellamy and lady gaga both wrote songs for adam lambert's album.

this is so cool....the only ones i could think of is that GaGa has a song called "Fever" that she got signed with and she gave the song to Adam Lambert to use on his album.
