The Great Mouse Detective (Basil): Not the greatest movie and has a weak plot, but does contain the greatest character. I mean, seriously, the main character is a mouse with more manliness than you can shake a stick at. It's pretty much amazing.
Darby O'Gill and the Little People (Darby): Freaking awesome movie. I mean, it's about a senile, greedy old man who gets into mischief with leprechauns... and it also contains a phooka, a banshee, and a young singing Sean O'Connery... Could this movie be any better? And it's about the only time that I'll tolerate leprechauns.
The Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere) and the Lion King (Scar): ... I don't need to review these ones, most everyone's seen them. If you haven't, they're awesome.
The Black Cauldron (Gurgi): It has an all-seeing pig, crabby old faeries, and an adorable fuzzy creature named 'Gurgi'... That makes it awesome enough.

Isn't the Great Mouse Detective the Disney rip-off of Sherlock Holmes? Nothin' against it but I haven't seen it in a while and it seems like it is...

The movie is based off a the children's book series Basil of Baker Street by Eve Titus, in which Basil (who is fascinated by Sherlock Holmes) lives under Sherlock Holmes' home and fights crime using Holmes' methods.

I mean, Basil practically IS Sherlock Holmes, except of course he's a mouse...
I've heard there's even a scene from the book played inside the movie. I wouldn't know for sure. I haven't read them. X)

YES! Someone who agrees on The Great Mouse Detective. It may tie with Beauty and the Beast for being my all time favorite, but at least with TGMD they can look back on the mistakes of Disney sequels and make a rocking bamf one for it. Yes I am holding out for a sequel and if I die before it is made I will haunt Disney studios *evil laugh*
