Ah, the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. When fighter jets still had guns. I can not remember a time in my life that my soul didn't lust after this jet... In my mind this is the ultimate vehicle, EVER! You want power, screw some piddly old, ground based horsepower? You ain't seen nothin' yet. If I died today my only, single, regret would be not getting a ride in one!
As an Airman, in the U.S.A.F., I was trained to be a Dedicated "Lawn Dart" Crew Chief... I've strapped in, and saluted more than one pilot, and smacked a few wing tip Sidewinders as they rolled past! I've even walked directly into (about six inches away from) the running exhaust of my jet, once... Which left the side of my head feelin' like a plastic, 99 cent store, "Welcome" mat, the left half of my face sun burnt, and only half a left eyebrow!! Honestly, I miss them... Just being around them. `viper13
Sometimes, I find myself riding my R1 past the end of the Scottsdale Airport's runway with my visor wide open, trying to get as much burnt jet fuel on my olfactory bulbs as possible!!! It's been said, that scent is the strongest memory trigger of a persons senses. Works pretty damn good, if you ask me.

The Viper does rock, as much shit as it gives me I still love it. This looks awesome man, its even a block 42, might even be one of my AMU's jets. I think we sent a couple down to this airshow. I know we at least sent a Coleman down there.

this is striking! When I click the download and look at the full view, I keep question whether it is a vector or a photo because of the way the color and detail of the jet meet the pavement...this is really awesome!
