Fractured ambience, dismantled desiresfleeting images, lost in raging fires
scorching pain and burning rage
shattered reflections of a broken mind;
trying to keep up, but left behind.
Shadow walls close around
memory-echoes, lament resounds
unknown voices... wispering lies
rebellious eyes and disturbed thoughts;
devour every dream into cursed-naught.
Every night the fear comes strong
so save me from this insurmountable song,
this wicked heart has known remorse
through hurt and suffer, it took its course;
and silenced itself...
Only regret remains to hold my soul
as I walk towards my gallows pole;
all fall towards this darkend hole,
guilt condemns, stolen absolution
my demise is no longer fiction.

I'm not much of a critic.... but this was amazing. As your other commenters have said, it is powerful, and it flows beautifuly. One of the few -great- self destructive poems I have read. Definetly a fave....
