Description
My time is slowly ticking away,devouring still my petty thoughts.
Leading my wavering soul astray,
tying my tongue in endless knots.
My world is no longer evolving,
feels like I am locked in the past.
Too fed up with problem solving,
I feel the taste of my heart’s rust.
My sanity now hangs from a thread,
I stand here facing myself once more.
So many voices clouding my head,
like layers hiding an invisible core.
My freedom is but a sickening lie,
laid before me to distract my mind.
Born in bounds, in bounds I’ll die,
such is the nature of human kind.
