Description
I was in the forest when I heard it: a song. It was a soft, somber, wordless celestial soliloquy that wove its way through my whole body, lifting me up with its sweet notes, beckoning me onward, which I did slowly as if in a trance, not once thinking about what I would do when I found the source of the sound– all I knew was that I must find it.The source, as it turned out, was a beautiful Leafeon. The leaves that were her ears and tail looked like green velvet. I wanted to touch them. Her back was turned to me when I first spotted her, but she seemed to sense my presence as soon as I entered the glade where she was sitting. After a moment or two, her melody ceased and she turned to face me, her chocolate-colored eyes sparkling with curiosity.
She opened her mouth to inquire what I wanted, but she then closed it without so much as a word. The only noise was the rustling of the leaves beneath her feet.
After a moment of somewhat awkward silence, I decided to come out from the trees. I introduced myself and I told her how I had come to find her, and how much I enjoyed her song. I asked her if she might sing for me some more, and if I could sit and listen. She blushed a little at my compliment, and she nodded shyly yet enthusiastically before beginning her song again.
I don't remember how long I listened; it was probably at least an hour, but it felt like a lifetime. And I loved every second of it. She looked so happy when she sang, and her voice sounded like fine silk borne from pure gold.
When she finally stopped, I asked her if she would honor me with her name. At this, much to my chagrin, her friendly smile and soft blush was instantly replaced with a sad frown. Her eyes glistened and she shook her head that no, she could not give me her name. It didn't take a genius to figure out that although she could make some noises and– as I witnessed– sing, she was completely unable to speak.
I sat by her side and told her that if she could not tell me her name, I would have to come up with one on my own. She giggled softly and nodded, blinking her tears away. I thought for but a moment before deciding on a name, and when I spoke it, she beamed, pushing her forehead playfully, gratefully, against my own. I couldn't help but blush at the contact, and as I looked into her eyes, I saw that she had as well.
"Aria..."

Not bad so far, right? I'm trying really hard to make a short little interlude between my ADLB comic that will kind of explain why Ace.... well... doesn't like bugs.

List of words you used, that I rarely see used by common internet folk: somber, celestial, soliloquy, trance, glade (I love this word ), inquire, enthusiatically, borne (spelled and used properly
), chagrin ( I did not know this one, THANK YOU
), interlude, and critique.

As of now, I have only read the first paragraph. I am... amazed, at the level of intellectuality crammed into the second sentence! I have never seen anything like that in a public internet page. My greatest congratulations Stablestripe. I love the words used, especially in this collaboration! Mabey we could share a converation with high intellectual capacity sometime Stablestripe. How are you on a field of: science; biological, chemical, or otherwise, statistics, evolution complimentary processes, mythical, historical mythics, mabey even some theoretical mythics, technological, mechanical, and/or mechatronical. Let me know, might be fun.
P.S. If you have any inquaries on any of the subjects listed, or are unsure of what they are, let me know. A lot of people do not know what theoretical mythics are, so mthat is my example.

Thank you very much for your kind comments! I consider myself to be pathetically amateur on most of those subjects, though I do find all of them– especially biology, evolution, and myth– very interesting. Also, I've heard of mythical theory but never theoretical mythics. Are they different?

Yes, I believe so; Mythical theory, I believe and may be wrong, is subjects in mythology that are not completely realized. In other words, people who study mythology think "this" means "that", while some one believes something similar, yet their theory has minor differences. Theoretical mythics is more of a newer subject. It is more like, if "this" happened then "that" is a possible result, amoung one to very many different results. All the while, if "this2" happened then... ect. Furthering "this", we (as scientists) may be able to do; this, or this, or... ect. An example, I am particularly interested in, in Evolutionary Theory, a belief is that we evolved from the Great Apes, Champanzies, Gorillas, and Orangatanes. The reason we may have evolved from them, is that their gama, sex, cells have 24 chromosomes, ours, as Homosapiens, Humans, have 23. The evolutionary process occured withen the gama cells, a single pair bonded, or fused together at the ends, telomeres. This bonding caused a jump in intellegence and motor development. Although a contradictory to this theory, is that when, a current/modern, human gains, or looses, a chromosome through a mutation it results in things like several paulsy ( I definately spelled that wrong, but I do not care, as long as you know what I mean), or down syndrome. Let me know if you are interested in more, that was the minamal explanation I could offer for understanding.

Thank you, I although astill know very little when it comes to wanting a profession in any of these subjects. In their fields it is basic knowledge, if you specialize in it. I like to learn as much as I can on everything I can, that way I can do what ever I wish.

I have to retype, so many gramatical errors DX. Thank you, I although still know very little, when it comes to wanting a profession in any of these subjects. In their fields, it is basic knowledge, if you were to specialize in one of the fields. I like to learn as much as I can on everything I can, that way I can do whatever I wish.
Sorry if it seems like I am spamming, I am not trying.
