Yeah...I was running out of space towards the end...It's my first tutorial. It tells you how to make a basic picture. I posted it in text on an RPG OOC board, then razoress here thought it was really good and that I should post it here...So yeah.Anyways, if anyone wants an exact link to Razoress's cutting tutorial, here: [link]

I have a more flawless way, if you smudge the edges, the horse looks messy, so get the background and open it in a new image, layer, new layer. Paste the horse on it's background, then use the lassoo with feather 2.5 or so on, and chop around it. No horrible pixelated edges! Then merge the layers! (layers, merge down) or (layers, merge visible)

I'm not understanding the lasso part and chopping around it. Do I chop around it as if I'm going to cut? Once selected then what do I do next? I try this and nothing is happening. Please help. Thanks in advance.

okay, you're information has helped, razoress's info helped, but select all, and copy is moving the background and image and that's not helping...guess I'll have to play with it somemore.
