^^Words from a poem I wrote a while ago. The picture doesn't quite feel right yet, but I didn't know what to add --or even take away. Thus, the piece before you arrived as is.

Imperfect
It's not as if
these bitter winds
and rolling seas
will cease.
And if they could,
then can my mind -
my thoughts - just stop?
Too steep.
I do not like
these words I hear,
the words my mouth
then speaks.
Don't like, at all,
these feelings that
this sour heart
does keep.
Neither you, nor I,
are perfect.
Perfect
does not exist.
And yet, I cannot
help but hate
Each imperfect
heartbeat.
