Feelings for everyone! I wanted to draw Professor Sycamore and Lysandre as children. My idea was that they are maybe childhood-friends, just some innocent kids.I gave Lysandre these fancy bangle and necklace, because in my mind he has some royal anchestors, so this golddecoration.

Hehe, thank you very much! Normally I'm not very good at designing clothes and so, but I gave me much effort at his T-Shirt. It's still not perfect, but I just don't wanted a boring purple shirt, as this one he wears later

Uhm, I don't know. Maybe 8-10 years old. I'm not very sure about that, but I would say Lysandre is one year older or so.

Well in the game you actually learn that Lysandre lived in Snowbelle. I am not sure where Syncamore lived as a child, but I am guessing Lumoise... But they still could have been childhood friends... Maybe they met at a Science Camp andbecame long-distance friends/penpals until college. But still I a positive they knew eachother for a long time regardless... Syncamore was very trusting of Lysandre despite how crazy he was becoming and that shows friendship

Yeah, why should Sycamore don't know how to battle? He can't be that silly, he became a professor. Eventually he don't like fighting that much and just want to have fun with his Pokémon? I don't know, that is for me the only explanation why he is so bad at fighting

yeah, like he thinks "okay guys, you can protect and you can Earthquake then next turn we get him with a Toxic/Venoshock combo..." but then he sees the ADORABLE baby Eevee and it's like "how am i supposed to battle against something so cute?"
Eevee used Baby-Doll Eyes! It was SuperEffective!
or he draws out the battle so long he sort of forgets that he's supposed to be winning and not checking the exact position Absol's left foot has to be at to get a critical-hit on its Sucker Punch...like Tierno, sort of XD he just wants to study them, ok?
(so that's kind of my explanation too...eh, I kind of wished he had a Mega when he battled with the three fully-evolved Kanto starters...but it would contradict his backstory so yeah)

That's the question: How can we say we love Pokémon and then punch them in a fight with some cruel attacks? 
Oh, the right position in a fight is always tricky. Sometimes you stand wrong and can't do anything! That's so annoying...

In my oppinion it would be greater if we would get in Z a story after XY, like in BW2. Maybe Sycamore could "safe" there Lysandre before himself

Or a prologue...(I'd like to see a prologue detailing the events before XY, like Lysandre's descent into villainy, learn a bit more about the Kalos Great War--what I'm calling it since AX and a few others mentioned a huge-ass war. Probably have the player be a friend of Sycamore's and Lysandre's that goes unmentioned in XY since he/she is irrelevant to the plot.)
Of course, it would be cool for a sequel, altho I'm unsure if there's really room for one. Well, unless Lysandre did survive/become immortal...

Yeah, that would be fine too. I suppose Lysandre wasn't evil all the time before (nobody is born evil), and I guess he don't see himself as a bad guy. "Just want to make the world a better place bla bla bla..."
Oh, a big war? Yes yes, now I remember, something with AZ and his silly Pokémon-well that's very interesting, maybe we could get some more information about that in the next game.
But wouldn't it be great if Lysandre survived? BTW, how did he die exactly? (as I said, I didn't played the game yet, but heard about his death...)

Yea, it's implied he went crazy prior to the start of the game since he tried to help save the world and resources, but nothing was really working out in his plans besides "kill a lot of people and Pokémon" (It's also implied he didn't really like the idea since he cries when your rival brings up his plan'll kill all Pokémon as well.)
Yep, I think it would be more interesting, since all we got about it was the bit about the Ultimate weapon.
He got crushed by rocks after he decided to explode his base on himself (and you and your rivals) by using the Ultimate Weapon, either trying to make you immortal (X)/trying to kill you all (Y) depending on what version you get. However, he's only presumed dead for the time being as it is really unclear whether he actually died or is just immortal, trapped buried under some rocks (OK, a lot of rocks), probably fuming to himself, wondering why he did such a dumb thing when he too was still in the building. (One would think he'd have thought of that himself, but villain bosses are not exactly known for their mental stability.)

Well, the idea to kill everybody was just silly...sorry Lysandre, but you're not better than all the other villain bosses. And great, killing people is okay, but to kill Pokémon is bad, yeah? N would love Lysandre
Oookay, this ending sounds very silly. It's unfair that the ending in X is better than in Y, 'cause I want to play Y. Wouldn't it be great when Lysandre didn't die? Well, he just deserve the death, but so he could get a evolution, from crazy guy to, well, less-crazy guy

I wanted Y too, but thought the TF of X, and the Mega-Evolutions of X were a lot cooler than those of Y. Lysandre's an extremist, and from the sound of it, Sycamore believed he could've talked Lysandre outta his descent into villainy/insanity. I'd like to see that explored a litte bit more. I kind of hope he didn't die, because he's kind of like Cyrus. Deep-down he's just very, VERY misguided, and it's implied he snapped prior to the start of the series when nothing besides "kill everyone" was proving viable in his pursuit of a beautiful world. You can understand his reasoning and motives, but then, he's gotta be stopped because his methods are downright crazy.
And N...I think would probably attempt to punch Lysandre's lights out.

Yeah right, Mega-Charaízard-X look a lot cooler than the Y-version, but I like Yelvtal and some other Pok'emon more, and it seems like everybody choosed X, so I want Y
I just ask myself how Sycamore feeled after Lysandres "death". I mean, his best friend wanted to kill him, and everybody else too...maybe he isn't a happy professor anymore...
Isn't it the same with all the other villains? First they wanted some greater, but then they become crazy and everything goes wrong...okay, maybe not Team Rocket or Aqua/ Magma, but Cyrus wanted a better world, and N with Team Plasma too. And it wasn't even N's fault that everything goes bad.

I was originally gonna get Y since I loved Yveltal's design. But sadly, X had more things I wanted, so I just decided to get Y later.
I wonder that too. He regretted not being able to stop Lysandre. (Prof. Sycamore needs a hug now imo. Seriously, having your best friend turn out to be evil and pretty much only being able to stand helplessly by and watch him summon a giant doomsday weapon to wipe out humanity...must've hit him pretty hard. I wish we got a little more material about his feelings, but they kinda glossed over it a bit...hopefully we get more in 3rd version/sequel.)
And yup. (I kind of pity Cyrus. He actually did have a chance to grow up happy, if his grandfather had intervened....seriously, I wish there was some way I could take the old man to the Distortion World and have him talk with Cyrus. You can understand his motives (his hatred of emotions stems from his feelings over not being able to please his over-expectant parents) but his goals are crazy. And N was just a puppet being used by his father-figure Ghetsis in a ploy to take control of Unova.
