Well, in her ref I mentioned she had a clockwork automaton named Elijah...
At that moment, I had no design ideas... I had to design a freaking clockwork... Shot myself in the foot on that one.
BUT, I did it! Meet Elijah!

Elijah is a Clockwork Automaton with a soul. He was created by Lilith Counterclock, a genius clockwork engineer and tinkerer. Elijah was crafted with the power of both machine and magic. His body is controlled by the power of his own soul which was summoned into existence by strange magic.

Elijah, named after Lilith's father, is really just a baby. He is capable of learning and adapting, but he has just started his new life. He is close to Lilith and follows her around everywhere however distances himself from others. He has attempted to get close to Lime, but her energy startles him. And Jill... oh boy... He is afraid of her, she keeps prodding and poking at him, wondering how magic was able to bring his mechanical body to life. He has bitten her several times in self-defense, Lilith is working really hard to discourage this behavior.

Elijah can barely speak, he talks in short sentences and simple words. Despite this, he seems to understand everything someone else says.

His personality hasn't really formed yet but seems to be a quiet, shy boy who likes to learn about everything around him, filled with curiosity.

Lilith was unable to figure out how to install a method for Elijah to earn gradients on his own, so she pre-built two gradients. She gave him blue, a color symbolizing life and then gave him purple, symbolizing the magic within him. She only added two because of his young appearance, she hopes to later install a third gradient when she thinks the time is right.

Fun Facts

- Elijah's bristles are connected to a set of gears, allowing him to move them up and down. He will use this to help portray what he is feeling.

- His legs alone had about a thousand redesigns... -_-

- His hair is actually large leaves with a cute flower in the back of his head. The leaves are made of metal however...

- He will bite you if you try to take his scarf, which he insists must be tied in a bow.

- Elijah was planned to have a tail, but that was scrapped... Despite this, he is a BOY clockwork!

- Though he moves his body with his soul, he needs fuel. This fuel is ink.
