Is this from that book you were telling me about? Pretty epic, she looks a little older though. Is she meant to be older? I love the deep reds and all, it's awesome! I drew up a sketchy thing yesterady on photoshop to paint. Can I send it to you? So you can CC it? And perhaps add a few things to it.

I've started coloring it. It's going to be totally weird, since I'm using non-human skill colors. She is a non-human, right?

haha I love how you have made it look! I've gotten on to my mum's laptop to get the brush info and then I am going to go back to my room to start painting. I'll tell you now that I am not going to get it up as quickly as you, but I will finish this one!!

Yeah, don't worry! Painting quick comes with practice...the time it takes me to draw the shoulders up is the time it takes some people to do a whole body with background. 0_0 It's crazy.
You should try practicing with colored backgrounds! If you don't integrate the background's reflections off the subject, it looks flat and pasted on, which was what my earlier digipaintings looked like. 
Do you want me to make a brush list of the ones I use, and post it in my scraps?

NO IT'S NOT!!! But anyways, I think that is how artists see themselves, always thinking that they have something to improve on which is great.

It's funny - all the good artists think they're crappy and criticize themselves all the time, but the bad ones think they're so great and won't listen to anyone who tries to help them improve.

He always reminds me of Malcolm from the Jurassic Park movies. Even when I read the books, I always thought he matched the character.
I think he's Jewish. He was a Jew in that Prince of Egypt cartoon movie, back in the nineties.
My Chem teacher says we should stick periodic tables on toilet doors like that so we can study while taking a dump/leak.

I haven't read those novels for ages! I used to be a huge Michael Crichton fan - it started when I read Jurassic Park because it was required reading for a 9th grade biology class.
It's a lot like Dan Brown. Lots of action, some sciency mathy stuff, and a bit of sex.

I don't know how to describe the Jewish nose but it's there, for most Jews but usually its big, but not in an ugly way.

It's not ugly...till they get old. Noses and ears never stop growing, which is why old people have massive got massive versions of them. D: CREEPTASIC!!
I don't watch Star Trek, but I get the feeling. It's that fast talking Doctor Who intelligent explanation kind of thing. Terry Pratchett, the guy who wrote Discworld, doesn't like new Doctor Who because he's pretty much turned into god now. He saves the day every single time and comes up with a magical new deus ex machina to rescue all the innocent alien victions.
