6 Hour acrylic painting. Despite the roughness of it, people seemed to really like this one. Some of the water ripples are painted on, but the brighter ripple marks is actually a reflection of strips of gloss I put on for a "real" ripple effect. This piece stinks so bad since there's so much varnish on it, but it's still one of my favs.Done in acrylics

I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going as a professional artist and I think I enjoy natural science subjects the most so it's encouraging to hear that you like these pieces.
